Casserole or pie?

Dream: I ran through the kitchen and I saw my mother finishing up a pie on the table by a large windows. It was a day and the weather outside was clear.

Analysis: Before I had fallen into the sleep where I had this dream, my mother came to my room to tell me that she had made me some casserole. So the cooking part most likely came from that; pie from somewhere else.
